Outward Appearances: The new cans are not like the one in the pick. They changed it to a silver lid and silver background on the sticker. it doesnt look as good compared to skoal cans, but it gets the job done. plastic lid and tin.
First Smell: Well, cosidering it it made by the same company that makes grizzly, it has a very sharp smell, like grizz green, but stronger.
Packing: Really good. Nice and moist, very even cut, compared to grizz, which sometimes has a couple of really long strands.
First Taste:Very sharp and Strong, very comparable to grizzly wintergreen, but tends to be more smooth in flavor than grizz green.
Gradual Taste: Stays pretty uniform it taste over a length of time.
Side switching:Stays together really well.
Length of flavor: average. 30-45 min. for me
Overall opinion: A good, strong hitting wintergreen that is very pleasing in taste and sharpness that wintergreen tobacco usualy delivers.
Outward Appearances: I really like this can for some reason. The whole can is a reddish brown all around, has a sort of "rustic" look to it. plastic lid and bottom.
First Smell: Really strong, even stronger than cope straight. Has a hint of beef jerky smell to it.
Packing: Really good, same as kodiak wintergreen.
First Taste: WOW. Very hard hitting, copenhahen doesnt even compare to the first taste compared to this stuff. a little salty though.
Gradual Taste: Really strong, juicy, and uniform through out the time is in your mouth.
Juice: Very dark, same as kodiak witergreen.
Side switching: Stays together really well, take it out, turn it around, very comparable to a wad of chew.
Length of flavor:Average. 30-45 min. for me.
Overall opinion: If your lookin for a very strong, lip burning straight flavor, this is the dip for you. But if your looking for a smoother, for refined taste, i would look else where. for some reason the last can of this i had, it really made my gums hurt. lets me know its doin its job.
Outward Appearances: Very sexy can. blue top and bottom, sticker is blue also.
First Smell: VERY close to grizzly mint, VERY strong, and VERY minty.
Packing: Really thick packing. just a couple of thumps and your set.
First Taste: Tasty, Refreshing, pretty much the same exact taste as grizz mint, BUT, a lot smoother IMO.
Gradual Taste: You better love mint, becuase the taste of this stuff doesnt change a bit. Very uniform, very sweet.
Juice: for some reason, grizzly mint and kodiak mint just doesnt produce as black of spit compared to others. does not hinder the taste at all though.
Side switching: Same as i have said before, stays packed in there really good.
Length of flavor:LONG time. a normal dip of this stuff for me lasts anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half.
Overall opinion: Very strong taste, juicy as hell, last forever. what else could you ask for?
kodiak will really burn a hole in your wallet and your lip! But, you get what you pay for. around here it runs in between 4.50 and 5$ a can. use sparingly! lol
